The Kodaikanal Club
This club was started in the year 1887, originally by British and American Settlers for playing Tennis and other games with a hall and library.Though started for social events like picnics, parties and dances in 1887, now the club is a private one offers recreational facilities such as Tennis Badminton, Billiards ,Table Tennis, cards etc., The Club owns a fine library .The club has 14 chambers and a dining hall providing meals. Though it is for members only, visitors can become temporary members an introduction by permit members. The club functions at seven road.

Kodaikanal Lions Club
The club started in the year 1985 and meets 1st and 3rd Friday of every month at Garden Manor Hotel. The club is under the jurisdiction of International Lions Dt. 324B.
THE KODAIKANAL BOAT CLUB
Started in 1890, own a number of boats for the use of its permanent members and on hire for daily members. There are nearly 650 permanent members. There is a restaurant and a motor boat to rescue and emergencies.

The Kodaikanal Golf Club
This golf club came in to existence on June 17, 1895. It has 18 holes, spread over 143 acres about 6 kms from the centre of town on the road to pillar rocks. Total length of the course is 6426 yards, Major events are in April, May & January and interesting competitions throughout the year. Golf lessons are also offered here.
